Principal – Sr. Mareeya Agheem
A proud product of the public school system herself, she understands firsthand the unique challenges and opportunities that Muslim children face in balancing their faith with a secular educational environment. As a former principal of a full-time Islamic school and a mother of two children who have attended both Islamic and public schools, Sr. Mareeya has a deep, personal connection to the importance of strong Islamic foundations—especially for children growing up in today’s world.
She firmly believes that weekend Islamic schools play a crucial role in nurturing young Muslims, helping them stay grounded in Islamic values amidst a culture that often promotes conflicting ideals. Her educational philosophy is rooted in fairness, creativity, honesty, and kindness—principles she applies in every classroom and interaction.

Vice Principal – Abdul Muqtadir Mohammed
Abdul Muqtadir Mohammed, serves as the Vice Principal of the ICEB Sunday School, where he helps oversee administration and supports the school’s mission of academic and spiritual growth.
A resident of East Brunswick since 2008, he brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the IT field. He has been passionately involved with ICEB Sunday School, first serving in administration and now taking on a leadership role as Vice Principal. With a strong background in technology, he is focused on modernizing school operations by creating a digital admission process and introducing automated notifications to improve communication and efficiency.
Beyond his role in Sunday School, he actively volunteers in masjid operations and community events, dedicated to strengthening the community.

Administrator – Nazima Khan
Sister Nazima Khan serves in the administration of the Islamic Center of East Brunswick (ICEB) Sunday School, supporting academic planning, operations, and student services. A resident of East Brunswick since 2008 and the mother of two sons actively engaged in community service at ICEB, she brings experienced in field of Information Technology and applies her professional skills to benefit both the school and the wider community.
In addition to her work with Sunday School, she serves as the Women’s Coordinator for ICEB masjid operations and events, helping organize programs and initiatives that strengthen community life. Her passion for education, youth development, and women’s engagement reflects her dedication to nurturing the next generation and fostering a connected, vibrant community.
