Mohamed Raffie – President
As president, Raffie will guide the way to a model Islamic community through establishments in religion, culture, education, business, health, and volunteer services. His vision is not to limit ICEB as a place of worship, it should act as a community service fulfilling the needs of the community. Mohamed Raffie Sheik Ameer was born in Chennai, India and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering. With over 20 years of IT experience as a Solution/Enterprise architect, and has multi-cultural exposure living in various countries. In 2015, he moved to Spotswood and has been involved with the Islamic Center of East Brunswick. A regular in ICEB, he supervises with construction of the masjid, oversees operations, and is heavily involved in volunteering in every aspect he has.

Muhammad Masroor – Vice President
Resident of East Brunswick since 2018 with a background in IT and currently working with a leading global consulting firm. Masroor has been involved with the Administration previously holding the positions of General Secretary and Treasurer.
He is also actively involved with ICEB to coordinate community sports, a Sunday school teacher and a volunteer in all the masjid operations and events.

Faheem Soherwardy – Treasurer
East Brunswick resident for the last 16 years. More than 35 years’ of experience in Technology and Finance. Partner in Real Estate business. Faheem has been engaged in multiple roles with ICEB in the past and led the initiatives of establishing Friday prayers, Sunday school, and the construction of a new mosque and many more programs for the betterment of the community.

Adnan Shafique – Member
Adnan Shafique moved from New York to East Brunswick in 2023 and has been volunteering with ICEB since.
Adnan has over 15 years of experience in technology management and is currently heading software delivery and product management for a global corporation.

Tahir Jadoon – Shura Chair
Tahir Jadoon has been a resident of East Brunswick since 2011.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering and a Master’s in Telecom Management. Growing up, he always had a strong passion for community service and supporting masjids.
Before moving to East Brunswick, Tahir was actively involved with several nonprofit organizations, contributing in various capacities such as an administrative team member, Shura council member, and advisory board member.
Since 2020, he has been serving as a Shura member at the Islamic Center of East Brunswick (ICEB), where he continues to support the center’s mission and community activities with sincerity and dedication.

Waheed Bajwa – Shura Vice Chair
Waheed Bajwa, a first-generation Pakistani American, migrated to the United States in the early 2000s. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and serves as a faculty member at a public university in New Jersey. Dr. Bajwa has been an active member of the Islamic Center of East Brunswick (ICEB) since 2011.
His volunteer work and interests are deeply informed by Islamic teachings emphasizing social justice, environmental stewardship, equality, and equity, principles rooted in the beliefs that all human beings are created equal and that humanity is entrusted with caring for the Earth.
His vision for ICEB includes fostering spiritual growth among its congregants, nurturing compassion toward the broader East Brunswick community, and actively engaging in educational and civic initiatives.

Saud Asif
A resident of East Brunswick for over 26 years, associated with ICEB since its founding and has served as Vice President and General Secretary. A distinguished technology executive currently spearheading strategic innovation initiatives at a global telecommunications company, with expertise recognized through multiple technology patents. Brings years of experience in technology along with a strong commitment to community service.
Beyond work, dedicated to building unity, supporting spiritual growth, and uplifting the community. An avid sports enthusiast who organizes and competes in cricket and badminton tournaments, bringing people together through the joy of athletic competition. With a love for history and literature, enjoys meaningful conversations and learning through discussion.

Zeeshan Qadri
A Resident of Spotswood and been actively involved in ICEB as an administrative member in past and a regular Volunteer.
Zeeshan is a Regional Manager at Guidance Residential for the areas of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
The “Key to Success” is his persistent drive to improve personally and professionally.
He strive to provide the highest standards of service and have driven significant business value for his clients and their stakeholders.
In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket and planning his next travel adventure!

Nadeem Khadbai
Nadeem Khadbai is a dedicated Shura member of the ICEB, bringing over two decades of leadership as the owner and president of an engineering firm.
A resident of East Brunswick since 1996, he holds a master’s in Civil Engineering from NJIT. His organizational expertise and community commitment make him a valuable asset in managing community affairs.
Nadeem has been engaged in multiple roles with ICEB in the past and led the construction of ICEB and many more programs for the betterment of the community. He is a regular volunteer for all ICEB events by putting his self needs and comfort behind.

Muhammad Saleem
Muhammed Saleem has been a part of the East Brunswick community for the past 12 years. He serves as an active Shura member of the ICEB and is committed to supporting initiatives to strengthen the local Muslim community. He is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with a strong commitment to both personal and community development.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant, over two decades he runs his own tax and accounting practice in Jersey City, helping individuals and businesses navigate their finances. Outside of work, Mr. Saleem enjoys weekly games of badminton, playing cricket, and traveling to new places with his family.
