| The crescent moon to commence the month of Shawwal was NOT sighted in Haramain (Makkah and Madina). Further to this, the moon is not sighted anywhere in the eastern corridor of the United States therefore as per HCC policy it has been decided that we will complete 30 days of Ramadan InshaAllah. Accordingly, Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13, 2021 (1st of Shawwal 1442 H). We pray to Allah swt to accept our fasting, prayers, sadaqah, and all the ‘ibadaah during the month of Ramadhan. In this difficult times, we pray Allah swt to shower HIS mercy on all of us.
